The Sponsorship program enhances the human dignity of the needy. Sponsorship means building relationship between the sponsor and their family with the sponsored individual. It is an experience beyond price. Please share with your family and friends.

The Sponsorship program is the most direct way that you can send donations. Generally, there are no multiple sponsors for the same sponsored individual. In some cases there is a need to have two sponsors for a college student. The cost of supporting the elderly at St. Xavier’s Home for the Aged needs two sponsors for each aging friend.

Your sponsorship starts from the month when you receive the photo and family record of whom you are sponsoring. Please kindly note this for your payment records. It will help us to provide the sponsorship program benefits promptly.

Please send your donations with sponsorship payment form/stub together with your check or mention the ID number in the memo section of your check. All the checks are processed and tax letters are sent from FCN Office in Arlington Heights.

Your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For all the donations we receive, you will get an acknowledgment and a tax receipt in a couple of weeks. You will receive a letter from your sponsored individual during summer and at Christmas and a new photograph each year with the summer letter. For any reason you do not get these letters please inform Tom or Geetha. Your sponsored individual loves to hear from you. Take a moment to write, send cards and/or photos. Please mail all your correspondence to (Name and ID of your sponsored Individual), Foundation for Children in Need, Porumamilla-516 193, Kadapa District, A.P., India. We will make sure your mail arrives safely to your sponsored individual on time. Please click here for more information.

Please do not send gift articles and birthday presents. Send your gift either for birthday, Easter, Christmas or for any other occasion through a check to FCN. We will pool all the gift money received throughout the year and buy gifts to all the sponsored individual at Christmas. By doing this all the sponsored will receive an equal gift. It is our suggestion that a gift of $ 20 to $ 50 or more would be appreciated each year. Please click here to see our Gift Policy.

If you find it difficult to continue in this sponsorship program, please send a note to Sheilya or Sue or email or phone. We will try to find another sponsor. Please inform us if you moved, have changed your phone number or your E-mail address.
