|
We want to thank all the sponsors who have contributed to the GIFT FUND and made it possible for all our sponsored individuals to receive Christmas gifts. We are truly thankful to you. If you have not sent your donation for the gift fund, you are welcome to do so even now. You may add this to your sponsorship check and note it on the memo line. Thanks a million to all our sponsors who were kind to donate for our flood relief efforts. We appreciate it very much. FCN was able to provide emergency food packets to over 200 families and will be doing more during this month. |
|
We are glad to share with you that FCN is sponsoring more than 2000 individuals. We are very much in need of sponsors as the need is growing each day. Please be an ambassador for FCN and share about our work with your family and friends. We are also looking for an opportunity to share about our ministry at different parishes. If you know your pastor personally, please let us know through email so that we can contact. You could be instrumental in helping us to visit your parish and spread the message of FCN. |
|
David Pratt and Louise Saucier are friends of us from Jefferson City, MO who volunteer their time and talent and have been helping us with our computer program. They have developed email/letter reminders. If you have an email ID, please help us by sending it as it will save time, treasure and environment. |
|
You will get a past due reminder if the sponsorship donation is late by 45 days. Please send your donation promptly so that we can reach out to your sponsored individuals. |
|
We will be having our FCN Day on May 28, 2010 at Arlington Heights, IL. It is an appreciation and fellowship dinner for FCN sponsors, donors and well wishers who are in and around Chicago. We will be honored to have you join us. Kindly mark your calendar. We invite you to donate any items for our silent auction. You are also welcome to donate time share. The funds raised will be used to build a hostel for girls at one of our projects. Please use the enclosed form to ship them to Joe and Christy Burkard who are the organizers of the silent auction. |
|
Thank you once again and wish you a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. |

We
share with sadness the severe floods in
our State of Andhra Pradesh, India on October
2, 3 and 4. Due to heavy rains, the rivers
overflowed flooding the towns and villages.
Many villages were left marooned. |
|
Kurnool,
Mahabubnagar, Krishna, Kadapa and Guntur
districts are the worst affected areas in
the State of Andhra Pradesh. Overall, at
least 1,800,000 people in nearly 400 villages
and towns have been affected by the floods.
Many villages are in bad shape due to the
flood waters. The Andhra Pradesh government
points out that it is the first time in
history that the scale of floods has been
so massive. Many villages are damaged in
the Kadapa area, too. The Indian Government
has declared it as a national disaster.
Government, non-profit organizations and
churches are all involved in flood relief
work. |
|
Please
pray for all those who are suffering due
to this natural calamity. |
|
Foundation
for Children in Need invites you to support
our efforts to reach out to the families
affected by the floods in a small way. We
would like to provide flood relief kits
containing 20 pounds of rice, five pounds
of lentils, two liters of cooking oil, a
blanket, a mosquito net, a towel and five
soaps etc. It will cost us about $ 20 for
each kit. If possible, please help us by
sending your donation in a check made to
FCN. Please note “flood relief”
on the memo line. If you are sending your
sponsorship donation, simply add the amount
to the same check and notify us. Please
mail your donations to: FCN, PO Box: 1247,
Arlington Heights, IL 60006-1247. |
