| Writing to your sponsored individual |
Letter writing is a very important
aspect of our sponsorship program. Through personal letters
from the sponsored individual, the sponsor learns about
the individual's life in India. We encourage sponsors to
write to their sponsored individual if possible. Sponsors
should mail all correspondence to FCN at PO Box: 1247,
Arlington Heights, IL 60006-1247. We will make sure your mail
arrives safely to your sponsored individual.

A reply to the letters received by
the sponsored individuals will be included in the Spring
or Christmas letter. We are not in a position to organize
more letters from the sponsored individuals for many reasons.
We send the mail to India once a month or once in two months.
Please note that it will take nearly two months
or more to organize shipping all the mail to India and the
distribution of all your letters to the sponsored individuals.

When you receive letters from your
sponsored individual, you will notice a label in the upper
right hand corner of the letter. This is the project and
student ID which is instrumental for us in processing your
letters. This code allows us to direct your correspondence
to the appropriate project, thus insuring reception of your
letter.

Here is a brief explanation of your individual's
ID:

One: Two capital letters indicating the project (location)
serving your sponsored individual. The number is the ID number
assigned to your sponsored individual in our computer database.
The single letter indicates whether
Geetha ("G") or Tom ("T") initiated your sponsorship. |
