In the past, FCN has sent a tax letter/receipt in January for all donations received during the previous year. Beginning January 2008, we will mail a tax receipt each time we receive a donation. You should expect the receipt about two weeks after the donation reaches our offices. These multiple receipts or single receipts will replace the once yearly receipts of the past; take care to save them for your tax records.

As many of you have requested, we’re working on a system of reminders for Sponsorship donation due dates. Beginning this year, each Sponsor’s tax receipt will have a stub indicating when your next Sponsorship donation is due. Please send your check together with this stub.

When we receive sponsorship donations on time it allows us to continue to focus on our ministry rather than having to take time to follow up with phone calls or emails to remind each individual sponsor of due dates. As most of you know, we work hard to keep all administrative costs to a minimum in order to direct our funds where they’re needed most, to the individuals you sponsor and the projects of FCN.
